The inner child
People who have ever followed therapy or been to a coach
or who are interested in psychology may have heard about "the inner child".
As adults, we all carry it with us.

As adults, we all carry it with us.
At moments when we experience very strong emotions, our inner child speaks.
What we experience in our childhood influences our adult life.
Sometimes in the positive way but also in the negative way.

The inner child in the adult will shout and scream until it is heard by ourselves.
No one but ourselves can "heal" the inner child by listening to it, talking to it, embracing it, loving it.
We do not have to be perfect to be loved.

For this project I work with both, children and adults.
The child symbolizes our inner child.
The child symbolizes our inner child.
Our inner child never leaves, it always exists inside of our hearts and minds.
We are all wounded children, walking around in adults' bodies.

It may be difficult to reconnect with our inner child.
Sometimes it’s hiding under the layers of responsibilities, obligations, time schedules, and life goals.
On a personal level I have come a long way with my inner child.
I have cried like a child and I have comforted her like a loving mother.
The wounds have almost healed.
